How I Teach
I teach civilians, churches, businesses, and agencies here in the Hill Country and around San Antonio.
Here is the order I teach in, and it is the spine of everything: your mind first, because it is the best tool you already own. Then your eyes and ears, seeing what is in front of you instead of what you fear. Then avoidance, which quietly ends most problems before they start. And only then, if nothing else was possible, the firearm.
I would rather teach you to think than hand you a checklist. A checklist runs out. A way of thinking works on the problem you did not see coming. So question me. If I cannot tell you why I do a thing, that is a sign I do not understand it well enough myself, and you deserve better than that.
